Just for Fun - anything goes

Just knew that Steampunk would be a popular theme and so it was last week at Just for Fun.   We were treated to a real feast of imaginative fantasy thank you.

As this is the 5th Thursday in the month the Just for Fun theme is Anything goes.  Not so for us the DT! Von decided that we should each send a randomly picked partner a selection of things that the other person had to choose 5 from them to use.   My partner is Sam and she bless her sent me just 5 things.   Some sheer fabric, old used postage stamps, the ol' jalopy die cut, string and TH admit one tickets.   I added a box after removing the acetate from the lid, a photocopy of any old map and some UTEE impressed with cobbles.

The rest of the team came up with some cool makes with their selection's as well, a visit to Just for Fun will show you what we all did.   Remember you can enter anything you like, this week is simply Just for Fun with anything goes.

Scrap-Creations   -   Anything but a card, well this is not card!
Shopping our Stash   -   Use scraps or Recycle it
Try it on Tuesday   -   Alter a Box, this week the challenge is Sponsored by Craft Barn which is where Di will be at the week-end demonstrating Tando.

Oh I do like to be beside the sea

Thank you all who joined us last week, at Dragon's Dream TIO it is great to see so many people joining us and sharing such great dream tags with us.    We are all so excited about how we are starting to grow again long may you share with us.   This week it is my turn to lead the dream hope you will like this one.

Virtually all my life I've near near the coast, the sea is part of my landscape.  On its good calm days its a fun playground.  Other times it is exciting, thrilling and a little frightening what ever sort of day it is, the sea is never the same.    What else could the dream be this week if not 'beside the sea'.

My colleagues on the Dream Team, and Frankie our leader, have all risen to the challenge with some wonderful inspiring seaside tags.   Your dream can take any form that appeals to you we love it all so long as you use a rubber or clear stamp on your tag,   most important enjoy yourself, we look forward to seeing your tag at Dragon's Dream TIO.

One or two other challenges are thinking of the sea this week as well

Craft-Room challenge 3

Time already for our third challenge at Craft-Room Challenge.   For this fortnight the theme is Summer Birthday chosen by Mervi.   As always there will be a random draw for players who have the Craft-Room logo and a link to the shop on their side bar, the prize offered is £10 to spend at the shop.

It may be Wimbledon fortnight, the English summer long sport is still Cricket.   This vintage image of a game on the village green as I imagine it makes such a nice focal point for a chaps Birthday card.

Our challenge runs until Monday 11th July 8:00 P.M. if you have a Summer Birthday or two that you will be making cards (or anything else) for please come over to Craft-Room Challenge and share them with us.   Even if you do not have any thing to share we are worth a visit to see all the lovely samples the team have made.

Turning into a challenge junkie these days and am entering this card into a few Vintage and or Summer themed challenges.

Butterflies are fun

Well the race was really an exercise in careful driving in dry conditions.  Still it was a lovely day yesterday.

High summer and butterflies always go together and always bring a smile so this card is a celebration of butterflies.

Used Papermaina craft card with ledger lines as much because it reminds me of my early working days as anything.   Really must getting a job that is a very sad excuse for using the card LOL   Nestie die cuts and and a Serendipity stamp marked 2005 which is probably when I brought it.   Clear embossed and coloured with Promarkers.   The rub on's in the corners of the card are basic gray.   The other butterflies were stamped onto paper used to mop up Glimmer mists and then crumpled, the picture does not show them off they really shimmer.

There are a few challenges around that I am entering this in

Crafty Calendar Challenge   -   Things with wings

Allsorts - Lemon and Lime

Sunday, this afternoon it is the Spanish GP.   Already in the qualifying Mr. Button had us chewing our nails, 6th on the grid but with Mr. Button you never know what he will pull out of the hat on the day.   Rather like Mr. Di Resta the Scottish newcomer to F1 this year not so sure about his car time will tell.   Of course I'm also cheering for Mr. Hamilton but his last two drives did not thrill, well the last one did but for the wrong reasons.

First though here is a card! the principal colours are Lemon and Lime the colour challenge this week at Allsorts and which appealed greatly to me this week.    The stamp is Pennyblack coloured with Whisper pens, same yellow pen used roughly on the edge of the nestie cut topper.   A little metal dragonfly is just passing by.

As it is a Penny Black stamp from their brushstroke range with is one of my favourite's thought it should also go into Penny Black at Allsorts monthly challenge.

LIM - Sketch

Good morning (just) from a dull overcast Southcoast for reason's I'll not go into my friend Sue will be pleased by today's weather LOL   you see you cannot please all of the people all of the time but there is always someone you can please.

Not the biggest fan of sketches but the Less is More gals don't do sketches covered in frills and flowers and stuff so this is an area where I like their ideas with blinking an eye LOL.   Neat sketch just three images in a row and lots of empty space.

Thought of this Inkadinkado stamp right away and the blue gray colours seem perfect.   Might have been the Colour Create Challenge's theme this week that influenced me, the gray is the mat the stamped image rests on.

Had to get my thingamejig out to line the sailing boats up think they look OK.   White Inkssentials pen to add highlights and some dark blue ric rak ribbon to underline it all.

There might be a LIM card to come but for now this is it.

Mail Art

Apologies, this may be a little difficult to see, it is difficult to photograph.   If I can improve on it I will.

Sue's challenge this fortnight at Tanda Teaser is to use lilac and green, that then was the starting point.   You can use anything you want for a Tanda Teaser but I always try to use Tanda Stamps and with this colour scheme their Dragon and Fantasy sets seemed a perfect choice.   Now what to use them on?    I am going to be sending some things to a friend soon and thought some mail art would be nice.

When I was working last started to get 'Graze Boxes' wonderful letter box sized boxes with all sorts of tasty treats to keep you going.  Well these boxes are far to go to just chuck and there is a little pile of them on one of the kitchen chairs.   This one has been painted all over with Black Gesso.   Then sprayed with Cosmic Shimmer Silver and Green, the purple is Glimmer mist.   Thoroughly dried and then stamped.   The standing Wizard and the Dragon on the right were stamped with Cosmic Shimmer acrylic liquid paint and then coloured with Sakura Pens.   Other stamping was more conventional with regular inks and EP (cosmic shimmer).   Finally some little dragons just stamped in Champagne and not filled in.    No idea what my friend will make of this when she gets it but sure she will let me know!     Entering this into, Gingersnaps  -  Packaging   Somewhere there is a things with wings challenge but I cannot track it just now if/when I do I'll enter this as well.

Thank you Valarie  The Cheerful Stamp Pad, things with wings! hope the Dragons count.

Just for Fun - Steampunk

Good morning, thank you to those of you who joined the tangle challenge at Just for Fun last week.   This week it is Neet's turn to choose the theme and she has asked us to use Steampunk as our inspiration.   We are joined this week by the very talented Marie as our Guest Designer.

This might not be Steampunk proper but as lots of Steampunk pieces use watch/clock parts they became the starting point.   A dis-assembled wind up clock provided the face, coloured with Alcohol inks, and the spring and cog hanging from it.    Nestie die cut provides the backing to the clock face.    Cuttlebug die and emboss used to cut the metal butterfly's flitting off.

Once again the team have produced some fantastic samples we all hope we tempt you to make your own Steampunk piece and share it with us.

I'm also entering this into Simon says stamp and show where this week the theme is Metal.

Lets face it

More and more of you are finding your way to or back to Dragon's Dream tag it on it is great fun visiting and see all the fab ways people use the theme.   This week it is the turn of Wanda to choose our theme and she has selected Lets Face it.

Used some In my minds eye paper to make a gate fold tag.   So many things are talked of as having a face.   Flower face, clock face, moon face to mention just a few the one's used here.   Stamping onto paper flowers, and onto the tag.   The sun and moon are moulded clay.

Its odd for someone who likes masks, faces are something that do  not feature much in my collection.  You probably have lots of stamps and ideas for a face it Tag and we would love to see them at Dragon's Dream TIO

Use packaging

If you follow Just for Fun, thank you, you might have seen our latest tutorial published on Monday about altered glue.    Thought it would be a good time to use the finished product on a project.

One of the current challenges at Gingersnaps is to use packaging.   This was a tub of biscuits that has been in my growing collection of things much to good to chuck and that will be re-purposed in due course.   Always in need of things to keep things in it was good fun to decorate this.

The yellow design on the tube was to nice to cover up so just the label painted over.   There is a full step by step guide on Craft-Room site so forgive me if I do not go into detail here.

Summer

Been a while since I did a canvas yesterday was just right to get out sprays, and paints and stamps and croco paste, acetate and altered glue.

The prepared canvas was sprayed starting at the top where the Glimmer mist was encouraged to drip down.   Then the bottom sprayed and then the middle with red.  A few more blasts of all colours left a nice puddle of green on the work surface the canvas was dipped into that leaving darker patches and splodges.

Next the roses and a single sunflower were stamped in black.   Gold croco spread sparingly from the top.   Interested to see how this would behave if an inked stamp was pressed into it, so the sunflower was cleaned of ink press into the moist paste stamp quickly cleaned.   While the croco was drying the the roses and sunflower were painted.   Two more sunflowers stamped onto the sides but not filled in to provide a little sense of depth.    Green croco spread up from the bottom.   Canvas set aside to dry.

Acetate cut using TH Butterfly die and coloured with gold leaf pen.   Sheets of pva glue coloured with alcohol inks cut with same die to go under the acetate.   Various parts glued together and left to dry.   Found in the acetate packet a stamped dragonfly, this was cut out and attached to the canvas.   When the croco was basically dry if not completely cracked the butterfly was stuck on.   Florist wire curled and shaped tops this canvas off.

I wonder if this is acceptable as a second entry this month to Alter it Monthly where the theme is Canvas?

Monogram 2

No not the wax again but it might happen, had to get this one out of my system first.   3 Cats live here Izhe a free gift from the Vet is black and white.    Minx a torrtie and quite a silly scatty little female.   Pounce, Minx's stocky solid playful hunter brother.   Iz came here last but is just a few weeks older than the quins M & P.

These then are their Monograms.   No idea what the Diva's at Less if More will make of this.

A tag with a bird

Another tag with a nestie die cut as the base tag shape.   This one was sparked by Tag Tuesday's theme this week, a tag with a bird.

Used Basic Grey stamps and TPC Studio Clearly Better ink pads these are made for use with clear stamps and do give a more even finish.    The stamp design has batik style gaps which have been filled with green Sakura glitter pen, the wing gap filled with orange.   A few red dots to ground the bird and we are done.

Monogram

Plans to go out this afternoon were cancelled so I've been making the most of my time!

A one point did not think this disaster would make it here but looking at the end result decided its quite fun.

The challenge this week at Less is More is to use a Monogram.   I've used wax and a seal with the initial Z on it.   Could not find any matches so decided to melt the wax with a heat gun.   Of course the blast of hot air blew the wax about until eventually I had enough control to get it where it was intended to go.  A little stamp embossed in gold and some gold rub on colour to highlight the Z.

Do have another CAS Monogram card in mind will have to see how time pans out.

Thank you for all your lovely comments and I agree it would look better on its own,  the stamping was done first and the rest of the plan was abandoned once the wax was done, which is why there is a stamp on here in the first place.

A tag with a butterfly

Does anyone know when the hose pipe ban is due to start?

Finally yesterday I managed to get inky, finally because it was gone 6 when this tag was started.   Just wanted to get the inks out and play as you do, so Try it on Tuesday's challenge came to mind.

Cut the tag in the nestie and then blended various DI over it.  Before stamping the tag a couple of blasts of Glimmer mists added sparkle and a little distress to the inks.   With the exception of the scrip all the stamps used are Eco Green, Garden Chic stamped on the tag with DI.    The script lightly touched and more faded than not is a La Blanche stamp.

The Butterfly, also Eco Green, stamped in brown stayzon onto acetate and then coloured with permanent markers on the reverse, butterfly cut out.   Acetate is great to work with but attaching it can be a problem.  To get round this three sequins were coloured with the same permanent markers and glued with silicon glue to the body, silicon glue also used to attach it to the tag.

Here it is then an invitation to summer to join us.   Here is a list of challenge's whose invitation to play along with I'v accepted.   Thank's again to Feline Playful for maintaining a smashing challenge list.

Bag 'n Tag

Its duckling season on water ways all over the land there are waterbirds bring their broods to fledgling.   Pictures of mother duck or swan or coot serenely padding away followed by their fluffy offspring  being published and causing an outbreak of smiles.   Well this wet weather we are currently on the receiving end of must be more welcome to them.

Hay ho the rain kept me indoors, again.   The latest Gingersnap challenge is Bagging and Tagging some stunning samples to be seen on the site.   For my entry i used a very smart bag from the hairdresser, strong sturdy and covered with adverts for hair products.   It has been covered with HOTP paper and then handmade paper with embedded leaves.   A strip of lace across the middle and a couple of green tissue mats cut with the Nellie die.    The TH winged heart was used to cut a couple of flattened beer cans that were used shiny side up.   Alcohol inks colour the heart shapes but the wings and crown were left as they were.   Some florist wire has been shaped and links the two hearts.

The tag is two layers of the same Nellie die the top one cut from the paper used to cover the bag.   Another  beer can heart treated in the same way as the ones on the bag.   The reverse of the bag covered in the same way but not embellished.   All that is needed now is a special present for a special person to go into this special bag.

Just for Fun - A Doodle

Thursday again, feels like it was just yesterday we started Sam's Tim themed week!    Yet here we are again with a new week and a new theme at Just for Fun.

This time it is my turn to set the challenge and it is an easy one all you have to do is get pen and paper out and have a bit of a doodle.   You might know that ZIA is one of the things I enjoy; these days you can usually see my tangles on my other blog This Tangled Den. As with just about every hobby there is a Yahoo Group Zentangle Inspired Art.   In June we have a Post Card swap.   Our Tangled postcard's all have the sun as their core inspiration.   This is my card and is on its way if not already received.

Official patterns used:
Sanibelle, Semaphore, Dex, Mooca, Pookroot and Toonzeez

You do not to have ever tried this before just scribble away, come back and show us what you did and see what the rest of the Just for Fun team made of my challenge.

Dragon's Dream Tag it on - Numbers Game

Quite a flock of flying things around last week it was great getting round and meeting seeing them all thank you.

This week Helen is leading us in a Numbers Game this week at Dragon's Dream TIO and i have taken this one very literally.   The base tag is an old bingo card that has been given a light gesso wash and then distressed with  DI.    Do you remember making little spinning dice six sided wheels with a matchstick through the middle to spin on?   Made this one and stamped it with various small Clarity stamps and then got to work with the distress inks again.   The 'proper' dice has been suspended in a wire cage made for it.   Everything else added to enhance the vintage feel of the tag.

We hope you will come and join us in this Numbers Game this week at Dragon's Dream TIO.

Craft Room Challenge - Playing with Dolls

WOW we were completely bowled over by the response last week to our first Craft-Room Challenge so many people joined in, just keeping up with commenting was like a full time job, to everyone who played along Thank you.   Thank you as well to Feline Playful for adding as to their list which made our launch such a success.

Time now  for a new challenge and a theme set by our wonderful Kim AKA A Gypsy Angel.   Kim got to thinking about the paper dolls she and most of us, played with as a child.   Did you have any?   In my time they came in books you cut the doll out and then all her cloths which had tabs to hold them on.   Our challenge to you is to make an altered version of those dolls.   Take a look at what the team have come up with, they are fabulous.

For this doll I made an ATC torso stamped with an Inkadinkdo butterfly and then coloured with the melted wax crayon technique I've fallen in love with.   The arms and legs were cut from cardboard and covered with basic gray paper.   Very small brads attach all the parts giving the doll moving joints.   For a head I used a TH sun.

Not the best doll you will see by any imagination, it is the very first I ever made!   Has this idea stirred memories and idea's in your mind?   If yes why what not have a play and share the results with us at Craft-Room Challenge.

Peel offs

Apologies if I have not commented on your work recently time is becoming a big factor.   Last week our new challenge Craft-Room Challenge just took off and is doing amazingly well.   If you have joined us thank you.

The response has increased my respect for Chrissie and Mandi who respond to many more followers week after week and each time their comment is pertinent to the individual work shared.   All respect aside this is one more card to add to their load!

This week's challenge at Less is More is a one layer card using a frame for your image.   Remembering some old peel offs could not resist the temptation to use one as a mask in a small area of a white card.   The colours are DI Mustard and Olive.  I like the messy inking and the end result!

Dry today typical but better here than in Christchurch NZ they have not stopped shaking since the first big one last September!

Masculine Birthday Card

With so many masculine themed cards and challenges around at the moment thought I'd get ahead and make my Brother's birthday card.   He does not visit so I'm quite safe sharing it with you now.

Frame it

Having a day out at the Owl and Otter Sanctuary in the New Forest today with a friend.  Jean & I met years a go at Marwell and together have visited many Zoos and wildlife parks all over the country, The Owl and Otter is local and one of our favourites.   just keep your fingers crossed we get some nice weather between the showers.

Back at Less is More this week it is time for another one layer card.   Personally one layer makes the most sense to me for a CAS card its just that with Chrissie and Mandy there is always a twist in the tail.   This week we are to use a frame.   Lucky for me this La Blanche stamp comes with a frame in place.   Applied ink with a brayer using Spice Big and Juicy  good colours for a vintage style image.   Used the same ink on the SU sentiment.   Hope this is clean enough for the challenge girls.

Father's Day Tag

Think it must be Father's Day soon judging by all the Father's Day themes around.   This tag has been specifically inspired by these.     Wild Honey distress stain colours the base of the tag which was then stamped in DI black, the stamps are both from Tanda.     Sakura glitter pens colour the bike, more DI Spiced Marmalade, Barn Door and Aged Mahogany blended around the edges.   The entire tag was then given a coat of Rock Candy crackle paint.   This tag is entered in

Just for Fun - All things T!M

Time once again for a new Just for fun challenge and as you know we are each setting a challenge this month.   This week Sam is our task mistress.    Sam is a big T!M fan and so her choice was a natural.   Sam is looking for at least one of Tim's great range of products in your project.

Not being as big a fan as some of you I've used a mixture of products here.   The watch face embossed panel is one that Sam sent me to play with as are the on the edge cogs die cut.    Really like that on the edge die.   The flourish and tattered flower dies are mine!    The flower is made of die cut scraps layered and held together with an eyelet.   Base corrugated card coloured with Glimmer Mists and partly covered with some postcard patterned paper from my stash.   Embossed panel, one the edge cogs and flourish all coloured with Viva Inca Gold paints.    Time saying is a TH stamp on green card and cut as close to the words as can be.   The ticket balances the saying and is something else Sam sent me, she was making very sure there would be something Tim around here for this challenge.  Thank you Sam.

You now know that Sam is a T!M fan Von and Neet have their own collections as well making this a very good week to check them out.   Your turn now what is in your T!M supplies collection that you will use for a Just for Fun project this week.

Dragon's Dream Tag it on - Things with Wings

Wednesday again that day in the middle the day that for office workers at least starts to herald the coming week-end.   Its also the first day of a new dream for us at Dragon's Dream TIO.    It's the lovely Elizabeth's turn again this week to lead the dream and she has Things with Wings on her mind.

So many options with this theme, it can be anything you want so long as it has wings.   The team came up with some cracking ideas well worth taking a look, better yet make your own tag with winged things and sharing it with us.

Having cut a tag it was stamped with inkadinkado morphing Butterflies.   Then it was time to play with the iron and wax crayons.   This was the first thing I made using Helen Chilton's technique in June's Craft Stamper.   Blocking colours and working within the image was great fun, one of those rare occasions when the iron was useful.    Using self adhesive gems a couple of flight path's have been laid out and a little cherub button tied into the fiber tie.

Do you have a flight of fancy to share with us this week?   We would love to see it at Dragon's Dream TIO.

Is this another box?

Really taken with this Tando Chipboard desk tidy kit, its a fairly new release from Tando and I was very keen to have a play.   The Masks are even newer and proving to be very popular, thought it would be fun to make this a little retro bag.

There is a bit of a show and tell in the guides section of Craft-Room where Tando is available.   Visit the Tando site for a full list of suppliers.

This was fun with Cosmic Shimmer sprays, black Gesso and stenciling with Silver Pigment Ink.  Now I've something else to keep things to hand and tidy in.

A little more LIM

Cooler and wet here today a stay in and play day. Thank you for asking I am back to my normal self today must have been just one of those things.

Having cut the green card yesterday it seemed right to make another card for this week's Less is More challenge.   Switching the colour and white around with green card and white embossing. The TH Elephant has a green gem for an eye.

Having lusted after this stamp for ages Von kindly got it for me when she went to Ally Pally in the spring.   This is the first time it has been inked.

Am slowly getting round to everyone this week always inspiring to see all the different approaches taken.

Alter it Monthly - Canvas

Well you didn't think I just made those two cards yesterday did you?

A while back C&C had some nested boxes on sale three boxes one inside the other, all with canvas board in the lid.    Intended for Children perfect toys for us messy types.    The Canvas top was given a wash of Weathered Wood Stain and then stamped with Tanda Flourishes in black Archival.   The new La Plume Solvent based pens used to go over the back ground again and colour in the flowers and butterfly.   This then is the Canvas element for Alter it Monthly.

The wooden box was stamped from the same set and then coloured with wax crayons.   Helen Chilton wrote an absorbing piece on using wax crayons in June's Craft Stamper.   It is only the second time that an article has fired me up like this one has, have made one or two other things using the technique but they are for future challenges.

Not content with stamping, painting and waxing once the canvas had been glued to the top of the box, some of the wonderful blue/green lace was attached around the top.   Some glue altered with AI stuck over it, paper flowers sprayed with various shades of red Cosmic Shimmer and Glimmer Mists.   Still seemed to need something so a butterfly was stamped onto vellum with Brilliance inks.

So that is the smallest box two larger ones to go.

Less is More - Monochrome

Not feeling 100% today do hope it is not something going round the Craft Barn yesterday!

Having seen lots of inks but not getting a smudge on my fingers today there had to be compensations. Here two cards I've made same design different colours.    The challenge this week at Less is More is Monochrome, a single colour in various shades and tones.

For the first card Green is the colour of choice, love green and its eternal promise.   Tanda Stamp in Celery and embossed with cosmic shimmer, the ink must have dried quickly as the ep did not cover it all.   Pleased with the resulting effect, finished the flowers off with various Sakura Pens.

Vintage style tag

I'm off to the Craft Barn today lots of exciting demonstration's going on there including Di and Karen from Tando, Andy Skinner and Liz Welch with her Friendly Plastic Magic.   So excited been looking forward to this for weeks!

I really struggle with this style soft feminine vintage lace and ribbon and pretty.   So this was a bit of an adventure, kinda lets pile it all on and see what happens project.

Inspired by
City Crafters - back to basic use paint and recycled cardboard.
Tag Tuesday - Soft Pink and green
Crafty Individuals  - Vintage with a heart somewhere.
Dutch Dare - Picture inspiration a lovely pink and green soft romantic bed

Stripped back some corrugated cardboard and painted it with acrylic paint mixing sap green with white and dark crimson with white.  The lacy point at the bottom of the main tag is cut out from a place mat, got a set of these lacy place mats from one of the £1 shop places.   More lace along the top.    Pink tag attached to the green one by a string of pearls.   Lady in pearls is a Crafty Individuals stamp as are the butterflies.   She is stamped in Memento and coloured with Promarkers.    Butterflies stamped in lightening black on vellum.   Oh yes the heart its a little paper cellar button on the corner of the stamped image of the lady with pearls.

Anything but a card

When ever the challenge theme is Anything but a Card I get a bit excited and carried away!   I enjoy making cards especially for a special person or occasion when you make it very personal and special.    Thing is you don't want to be making cards all the time do you?   Of course there are always Tags, ATCs, Bookmarks and the like and they are fun.   still its good to do something else now and again or at the drop of the slightest excuse!

It is Sentimental Sunday whose's challenge this week is anything but a card, the team are sharing some great samples worth a look.   This is a paper mache mask that has been painted, gesso base Viva Inca Gold in gold, copper and green.   Sprayed with Glimmer Mist and then Inca Gold retouched.   Stamped with Brown Stayzon and then again in gold and heat embossed.   Next the wires were cut and added as whiskers.    Red Inca Gold around the eye sockets.   Lines of PVA glue following the stripes often seen on tabby cats, Alcohol in dripped onto the wet glue and left to dry, the ink ran off the glue in places creating more stripes in a natural looking way.    Self adhesive gems around the lower eye sockets and in curves around the face.   Finally more Red Inca Gold dabbed through sequin waste randomly over the face.

Dream Valley have a challenge to stamp something this is my entry there.
Stamp Insanity have and Anything Goes use colour Challenge, colour pops here hopefully.
Paper-Craft Journey have Anything Goes use your favourite crafting whatever.  There are so many favourite's here Inca Gold, Alcohol Inks, Stamping just love them all.

i spy with my little eye

Thanks for your Tea cards last week a new and interesting format to a lot of us thank you Neet for the interesting and challenging format.   Now it is June! a five Thursday month so we are going to set the challenge for just one week each.

This week Von has set the challenge with the theme of 'I spy with my little eye'.   kicked this one around in my mind for a while until looking through the keyhole came to me.  So for this little ATC I used Wendy Vecchi An eye for Art set, for the framed eye and face parts.   Tanda stamps used for the keys and key hole.    Stamped the WV images in black Momento and coloured them lightly with Pro Markers.   The other images stamped in Brilliance inks.   The ATC was then blasted with Glimmer Mist and run through Big Shot with Swiss Dots.    The Eye and lips were touched with Glossy accents and the keys touched with Versa mark and clear embossed.    So what did she see? Well her lips are sealed.

Dragon's Dream Tag it on - Time Piece

So now each of the new Dragon's Dream Team have hosted a challenge we are back to the beginning with our leader the Dragon herself setting this week theme.   Great theme as well I'm sure you will agree, this week Dragon's Dream Tag it on is representing a Time Piece.

Fancy cloths or bag tag's were in my mind for the shape of this week's tag.   first off it was stamped with a Prima stamp which resembles chicken wire and then blended with Wild Honey, Aged Mahogany, and Vintage Photo DI.    SU clock face stamped in brown Versafine.    Stampbug seed heads stamped in Forest Moss, remember counting the number of puffs it took to blow them all away?    SU Sentiment stamped in Aged Mahogany.   The Andy Skinner birds were stamped in Vintage Photo and then waterbrushed to drag the colour in.    A little clock face stuck in the feet of one of the birds, Time Flies.    Then with the aid of Glossy Accents small watch parts were stuck on for the birds eyes and beak.    A resister attached to the clock face for the hands.   Finally a small metal chain threaded through 3 small watch fly wheels.

This then is my take on the theme looking forward to seeing what you will make of it.
