Second posting today, well its so dark and wet staying in and playing is the only thing to do. Hope you are all safe and dry and we do not get a freeze anytime soon be a bit to rink like for my preference! So back to the cards and this one might just be my last Christmas card not promising but could just be Christmas carded out...
The challenge at Allsorts this week is to use buttons, thank you Lisa. Got boxes of buttons some I inherited from my Grandmother 45 years ago!!!others are more recent the buttons on this card all come from cloths long since forgotten only the buttons remain now. Have I mentioned that Yellow and Red is one of my favourite Christmas card combinations? Yellow and Red is one of my favourite Christmas card colour combinations. The blue kitchen paper is a recycle, a while ago I used Blue Stayzon and then cleaned the stamp using a spray cleaner mopped up with kitchen paper which made a wonderful background sheet. Gems and stickles and ribbon for sparkle and texture.

ReplyDeleteWhat a happy chappie snowman. Interesting backgrond paper, just goes to show how everythuing has a use.
I also have one of the ancient button boxes, but do you find even with the new additonas you still struggle to find exactly what you need - or is it the choice is too large ?
Thank you for joining in the fun at Allsorts this week.
