Allsorts - Inspired by a Garden

Well the promises of better weather were perhaps right but today was not exactly a summer day. There is always tomorrow says she optimistically LOL anyway made an inky session guilt free.

The challenge at Allsorts is to be inspired by a garden or a park. The hard part was choosing which stamps to use. While rummaging 'found' the Inkadinkdo inchie set and knew what to do. Don't get me wrong love pretty flora and thats where this was going until. Enjoy doing things a little diffent as well. Laid the stamps out on an acrylic block using momento ink in yellow red and black stamped onto buff card, cleaned stamps and stamped again in black on same card. Kept the black version intack coloured just the square with the bird, blended DI over the rest and then applied Glossy accents to the bird, and two other squares. The coloured version enhanced with promarkers and 3 squares cut out, attached to main topper with sticky pads of different thicknesses. There will be a sentiment one day just do not know what it will be used for yet.

  3. That is a nice card. I have never used inchies. I am not sure I have the patience for it. Thought that about ATCs & ended up liking them.

Not only are your inchies great, the background papers on the card break it up, & make for a nice layout! Great job, girl!
