Mondays have been much more interesting these last 3 months or so get to work and get as much done as possible so that I can get home again and check out the weeks challenge set by Linda using Mr. Holtz's recent publication 'A Compendium of Curiosities' This week we are practising masking basics as explained on page 58.

I can tell you that the butterfly is made of gallary glass cut using one of TH's fabulous dies. This is another page for the Lots to do revisited forum chunky grunge book swap, the prompt for this page is 'Up up and away.

  4. Fantastic butterfly, lovely bright colours and I really like the way you haven't made it symetrical colourwise. The tendency is to make both wings exactly the same xxx

  5. Oh this is fabulous - like a stained glass butterfly, how unique! I have some Gallery Glass hiding in the back of my cupboard somewhere, may just have to dig it out now.

  6. WOW you have done a wonderful job using this fab die but i dont understand how you used the gallery glass paints....did you put it on accetate first then run that through die cutting machine?!! xx jo xx

  11. OH, Zoe, this is stunning! Your masking work is lovely, and the butterfly looks amazing! Gallery Glass is a brilliant choice for this die cut design- to colors are so vibrant and spectacular!

    You really do create wonderful art for the CCC, every week! It's always such a joy to see what you've come up with!
