Compass and Anchors

Allsorts of things brought this canvas togather, a love of sunsets the sun makes a great basic compass.    Rope from my days with a boat sales business used it to practice splicing a skill not likely to be needed in the future.   Love this pair of anchors and the compass which also comes in a pair just used the smaller one here.   They are more of Di's fabulous Tando chipboard.

Acrylics used to paint the canvas and then ferro paste added for greater texture, Glamour dust blown over while the paint was still wet..   The compass painted with Inka Gold and then gold crako.   Anchors sprayed with GM and then a layer turquoise Crako paste followed by copper Crako paste and finally some Viva metallic paint.    For the finishing touch the whole canvas was sprayed with more Glimmer Mist.
