Gingersnaps spirit blog hop

It's Gingersnaps 2nd Birthday, HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIRLS. To celebrate Gingersnap members are sharing a special piece made just for the occassion celebrating the groups theme colour, GINGER.

This little wall hanging is another small canvas board coloured with DI, lots of fab orange shade of DI my favourite at the moment is Wild Honey.   Piece of heavy weight ginger stamped with an old SU stamp and paper run through the Big Shot with the Cuttlebug jigsaw die.   Pieces reassembled and stuck to the canvas with a couple of elements offset.   TH bird and cage cut out of grunge paper and coloured with more DI.   Red/copper fibre threaded along bottom and some gems hung on wire from the centre 3 holes.   Viva Ferro in orange and Viva Cracko in Copper on cage and side of canvas.    Holes punched in top of canvas and more fibre threaded through with soap stone beads used to hold it in place.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GINGERSNAPS

Lots of the groups members are celebrating in Ginger today along with the special announcement pieces of the new members of the DT.   Hope you will have time to visit them and get to know some of this great group of artists.

I'm also entering this in Theme Thursday where the theme is Orange LOL

Silly me have not entered this into Gingersnaps colour challenge use Copper, Ginger and or Rust.
