Having a day out at the Owl and Otter Sanctuary in the New Forest today with a friend. Jean & I met years a go at Marwell and together have visited many Zoos and wildlife parks all over the country, The Owl and Otter is local and one of our favourites. just keep your fingers crossed we get some nice weather between the showers.
Back at Less is More this week it is time for another one layer card. Personally one layer makes the most sense to me for a CAS card its just that with Chrissie and Mandy there is always a twist in the tail. This week we are to use a frame. Lucky for me this La Blanche stamp comes with a frame in place. Applied ink with a brayer using Spice Big and Juicy good colours for a vintage style image. Used the same ink on the SU sentiment. Hope this is clean enough for the challenge girls.

Stunning card, Zoe! Those La Blanche stamps are beautiful aren't they? Bought two from stampalot when I was last there.

What a fabulous image.. I do tend to agree with Mandi about the sentiment, but for me it's because the style of the image and the style of this sentiment stamp don't seem quite in synch with each other. To my mind, this beautiful image calls for a copperplate type script font. (Purely personal opinion Zoe) It looks great as is, but you know we can't keep our noses out!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much
