Not feeling 100% today do hope it is not something going round the Craft Barn yesterday!
Having seen lots of inks but not getting a smudge on my fingers today there had to be compensations. Here two cards I've made same design different colours. The challenge this week at Less is More is Monochrome, a single colour in various shades and tones.
For the first card Green is the colour of choice, love green and its eternal promise. Tanda Stamp in Celery and embossed with cosmic shimmer, the ink must have dried quickly as the ep did not cover it all. Pleased with the resulting effect, finished the flowers off with various Sakura Pens.
The second card is my favourite monochrome White on White. It might be difficult to see. Same stamps white ink and white WOW powders. Allsorts this week are looking for WoW perfect.

I think the embossing has lost some of the detailing of the flowers, but it looks lovely. Maybe a darker shade of green ink, then clear embossed would have been better. Hard to see the white on white, sure is FAB IRL,make a super wedding invitation
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Zoe

I'm a monochrome kinda person, so I love your two latest cards.
ReplyDeleteYou found the same as me, ohotos of white are a nightmare, almost as bad as acetate.
ReplyDeleteBut I an see the mebossing fine, makes for a very elegant card, as doe the green one.
Hope you are not going down with anything, might just be the shock of lack of inky fingers.
Thanks for joining in at Allsorts this week and good luck.

It's sometimes quite difficult to get all of the embossing to show up in photographs, but the effect on these cards is just lovely.
ReplyDeleteThanks again Zoe
