Amazing the things you can find in your wardrobe or sewing boxes loved seeing them.
Now it is the last of Von's recycling challenge's for October and what fun it has been. This week Von is simply looking for projects incorporating any found object.
Another of these little canvasses is the support here. First coloured the canvas with Pumice Stone DI on a craft mat. Then TH cog masks placed over canvas and Scattered Straw dabbed over. Next the 'clouds' were stamped. All the screws, washers, nuts and other Tool box bits and pieces were found on the workshop floor at the marina. The big hoop earring was found on the pavement I forget where the zip top came from. The chain is from a necklace 'found' in a charity shop. These bits and pieces were arranged on the canvas and when the layout decided on, the bicycle was stamped in Rusty Hinge DI along with the world Travel sitting on top. One screw and one cog pushed through canvas everything else fixed with Glossy Accents and Viva gold Ferro. When everything was set some Viva gold Croco spread over the top. Finally an old Inkadinkado Rose was stamped on to red metal three times each rose cut out three times getting smaller each time. The metal has been embossed with the sharp ended TSS tool layered the metal roses up and held them together with a pearl topped brad.
Found anything lately that sparked a project in your mind, we would love to see it at Just for Fun.
