Autumn is now showing her colours and just a touch of chill in the air!
As for all of you well just how creative are you? Fantastic anythings you shared with us at Just for Fun last week Thank you.
October is to be a month of recycling as led by Von. More and more of us are looking at how they can reuse or re-purpose things that would otherwise be thrown away. So Von wants to see what we are doing with them. Starting this week which is about recycling a magazine or a book. For my sample the cover from a free magazine pushed through the door. It is very simple and has just been folded into a box with the lid slightly larger than the base so that they fit snugly together. There is a fabulous tutorial at Split coast stampers.
Of course once it is folded you want to dress it up a bit! Squared up a couple more magazine pages and folded them using the Napkin fold and then trimming the corners with a MS punch. One of the sheets was painted with white Gesso and then coloured with DI. Stuck to the top of the box with ribbon stuck below and tied over the top. The second sheet left open on the side showing the creases for the napkin fold.
Please pop over to Just for Fun and see the fabulous creative things Von and Neet have done. While you are there why not share you project with us.
