Unruly Beachbag

You might have guessed that I've been quite busy recently with projects for the team!    This is another of those.

July at Unruly is all about 'Catchin' the Wave' with lots of seaside and water themed projects and techniques to share.   Of course there are two great Art Quests for everyone to join in and you get to vote for your favourite entries.

I've made a sample for the first of this months Art Quests which is themed 'Beach'.   Well if you are going to the beach you'll need a bag for all those bits and bobs.    This simple cotton bag has been in need of livening up for a while.   First it was coloured with a brayer and Big and Juicy inks.   Probably not a good idea to get it wet then!    The images were applied using Transfer Artist Paper, there are lots of image transfer techniques I prefer this one because it does not require you to rub the skin off the ends of your fingers!

Here in the UK you might not fancy the beach too much, but you can dream.  We hope you will  have a crafty beach dream to share with us at Unruly Paper Arts.

Of course there are other challenges around who might like my Beach Bag;
