Hello! what a fantastic few day's i have just had. Took 2 days off work and on Thursday went to the Christmas Market at Lincoln. They say the Lincoln one was the first to be established in Briton. Over 250 stalls and a fun fair it takes you all around the Cathedral and Castle on cobbled streets and even lawns covered with a walking surface. Great variety of stalls food of course, crafted gifts such as pottery or jewellery, clothing toys all sorts. Terrific atmosphere and Christmas sprite.
Then on Saturday my brother invited me to join him for a visit to London to meet Kathrine Grainger (Olympic rower gold medal pairs). Poor woman had a day ahead of these meetings with just 12 or so people in each group. Wonderful for us felt we really had an opportunity to connect with her and converse. We also had tickets for the London eye, my first time, WOW. Took photo's with my ipad which seemed to think they were video's. Have to sort that out so in future i can share them with you.
Just had time then to make my project for the Craft-Room Challenge. It is Hazel's turn to challenge us with a theme of Tags. Our sponsor is FlonzCraft and it is one of their stamps I have used on my tag. Made with two Spellbinder die cuts, the image stamped and coloured a swirly image randomly stamped on the base piece. Both die cuts were then coloured using both Adirondack and DI inks with my ink dusters.
With Christmas just days away you are sure to have been making a tag or two why not share them with us and maybe win the draw?
