Washing blowin' on the line a touch of sun on the skin ohhhh please let it last.
A colleague is just about at week 38, and her 3rd son is breech. She had a scan on Friday we will learn tomorrow when her newest son is expected to draw his first breath. In the mean time we've just decided to get on and get a collection going. Part of my contribution is, of course, the card. Rachel is not really a sentimental cute type which allowed me to keep this fairly simple.
Just a set of dry embossed squares with the word Boy spelled out in mirra card. Ted stamped and detailed with brass ep, he has then been coloured all over with shades of blue the white nappy is paper pieced.
The diecut with the word Newborn on is actually a better colour match than you see here I think the different texture of the two cards and the way they reflect light is why they look so different here. Newborn is embossed with Silver ep, finishing touches 5 little pearls and a blue bow.
No greeting inside so room for lots of personal messages and this very cute stamp. Well he has two big brothers so this scene might come to pass!
Thought I'd share this card with:
Fashionable Stamping - Sentimental
Here Come the Boys - Monochromatic Blue and Masculine
Hobby Cutz - Monochrome
2 Sisters - Blue &/or Green
Suger Creek Hollow - Baby Face
Crafty Catz - One for the Boys
