So as you do I decided to make them and of course before doing that I turned to challenge land for inspiration. Here are two that I'm quite pleased with!
TH tag die to cut some brown card and some cream card. The cream card had already been stamped with a netting background stamp. This tag was then coloured in places with blue Brilliance ink from a little teardrop pad. A daisy stamp was then used randomly over it in a darker blue. Another Brilliance teardrop (Coffee Bean) swiped over the edges of the tag basic direct to paper technique here! Next it was embossed in the TH splash folder. Two of the stamped daisy's coloured dark blue with ProMarkers. An old chipboard flower sprayed with Dylisions blue and touched with Viva copper metallic ink. Still thinking it needed something I played around with some brown and blue lace and some sticky backed pearls.
The second tag was much less work! Brown tag, new Crafty Individuals dragon fly masks and Dylisions blue spray. Dried with a heat gun, some brown beading cord wrapped around it, with a blue bead threaded on and held in place with a glue dot.
The challenges that inspired this
Inky Chicks - Blue and Brown
Allsorts - True Blue
Daring Cardmakers - Stencil it
I would add Craft-Room Challenge (Stamp your own background) except it's my challenge!
Right like it or not I've got to go out to the shops now.....
