Unruly - Haunting Ways

2nd Post today!  Well not only is it Tuesday, it is also the first of the month.   So October and some changes at Unruly PaperArts.  Shar whose baby Unruly is has decided to step down as her other life commitments need more of her time.

Shar thank you for everything, starting Unruly which is unique in our crafting land filling a very special place.   The idea is that we your peers share with you our art and the techniques we use, we know that very little of what we share is new like you we are learning and absorbing all the time, but Shar had the brilliance to bring us together herd, guide, mentor and support us, sometimes chasing us up to get the blogzine produced and ready to share with you all each month.    The blogzine has been a great success and a pleasure to write for.   We are lucky in two things that at this time of change; Shar is staying on with her column and that a new editor has stepped up.

Deni joined the team last term (6 months ago) and as serendipity would have it was looking for 'something to get her teeth into' her words when Shar made her announcement.  So we find ourselves at the beginning of a new term with a new editor and some changes in the team as well.   I'm sure with her fresh keen but considered and detail approach Deni will take Unruly forward.   And yes I'm still there, but of course the most important part of Unruly is you, the reader.

Now you know we have 2 Reader Art Quests each month, and this being October our month's focus will be a little spooky.    I've made a sample for the second of the RAQ's "Going Batty'.

This being the season of reward for menaces and all that, something that is taking of here in the UK more and more each year.  I've altered a soap box to hold what ever there is for the local children when they come knocking on my door.   The papers are Basic Grey some cut and pasted onto the box some cut with an old cuttlebug set for the bats and spider.   The word Treats cut with another set of dies.

Do you like halloween and or bats? This could be the spark for you.   See you at Unruly PaperArts

  1. GREAT idea!! I love Halloween but actually hate getting up for the door all night - I'll have to pull something out of somewhere & do something like this (how's that for commitment LOL) Love the bats :) XO

Thank you for taking time to stop and leave a comment I love reading what you have to say. Recently I have been experiencing an error message when I try to leave a comment on my return visit. I make every effort to to come over and see your art works and hope this glitch will be resolved soon. xxx
