Black and White Poppies

After checking the Wednesday challenges yesterday afternoon an idea got stuck in my head and would not go away.   So much so that this card had to be completed.   Cut a square base card and layered it with a gutted black square and a matching white inner square.   From the same old QVC, Kanban box of stacking toppers the block flower shape.

The stamp is a PSX one or at least in that style, stamped and embossed first on the black mat in white.   The carefully lined up and stamped in black on the white card.   Finally worked out the best part to top it all off with white on the black flower again.  I love the look of white stamping on black card.

The challenges that inspired this were:

The Male Room - Make Flowers Masculine

And another influence that made it's self felt in the design
