Sun is back on full power

The heat wave continues, here at least the last 2 days have been cooler and much more comfortable.  Not so for all parts of the island, one of the benefits of being on the east coast.  Today though it is hot and this is forecast to continue for a little while yet.

Actually can make the craft room the place not to be!   But as my crafty mojo is visiting wanted to have a play before the heat chases it away.

I made a card because one of the challenges at the heart of this call for cards.  CAS Mix up set great challenges you project has to be CAS, it must then include the 3 elements the team have set.

So Colour your Die-cuts, Stamping and my choice Gelatos.    The floral die is a left over cut from another project I'm working on but am not ready to share yet.   Cutting a fiddly die I use 3 sheets of copy paper but only on is actually attached so this one was left over.   I've coloured it with Gelatos a small paint brush to apply the colour and then damped to smooth it over.

The little mat behind the spray is also a piece of scrap card that just fitted the die.  This one was dusted with 2 shades of green DI.  Mat attached with a single strip of DST.  The fussy piece has been fed through a sticker maker and then slowly and carefully put in place.   Sentiment stamped in Green Memento.

Craft addiction fed time for a green smoothie me thinks.   But first it is not just one challenge on my mind while putting together.

Less is more - Nearly the end of this fortnights challenge which call for you to use things from your bit box.

Addicted to Stamps and More - This week the theme is just right for me CAS.
