A bit of this and a little of that.

Strange summer we are having heat wave one week, pouring rain strong winds the next.  It's hard to know what to wear if you go out.  As for Harley cat he does not believe in using the cat flap to go out at least not unless the circumstances are exceptional.  His preference is for the patio doors to be open all day, not in this weather.  So he just sits staring through the glass doors longingly open them he feels the wind and turns back into the house.

I had an idea for another post card today.

Ingredients for this CAS card; Circles, Blue, Umbrella Image, Inks, embossing powder & felt pens.

The circles were provided by a "That's Crafty" Dinky stencil and DI dusted over.  I used a hand made mask so restrict the area of the stencil and form a point.  Next a fabulous stamp from Sparkle N Sprinkle a company that I don't think exists anymore but they made fabulous stamps.   Stamped in Silver and embossed with Silver fine detail EP.

Blue and Yellow felt pens coloured parts of the image that did not overlay the stencilled area.   Feeling mighty pleased with myself a sentiment seemed to be required.  Looking around for something suitable an almost unused set of Stampin' up sayings drew my attention.  Stamped and embossed in silver.

Even as restrictions ease we all still need to be careful and socialising remains something to be contained in small groups.  I think it might be time to start sending a few more postcards around.  At the moment this one is just for me until I know who to send it to.

For now I am sharing this with:

Make my Monday - Use Stencils (fortnightly)
AAA Cards - One Corner optional twist use masking (fortnightly)
A Gem of a Challenge - Anything Goes (fortnightly)

No idea what I'll come up with next so until next time Stay Safe, Keep Well and HAVE FUN.

  5. What a beautiful combination of techniques. The embossing powder and marker umbrella is gorgeous. The over-sized circles are so delicate since you used a stencil. Thanks for joining us at Make My Monday challenge.
