Another weekend

How many weeks is that since the start of Lockdown?   I've lost count the only thing that really effects me is my desperate need to get a hair cut!  What are you most missing?

No shortage of time to spend crafting, my this weekend what else is there to do on a wet chilly summers day?  Yesterday I shared a CAS card and mentioned that there were a couple of other projects in the works.  One now resides in the bin, here is the other.

Unfortunately the light is flat and I've not been able to capture the vibrance of the metallic paints used.  Base Greyboard A4 size painted with black gesso and left to dry.  First layer Imagination Crafts stencil and white stencil paste, something else that had to be left to dry.  Using a quickie glue pen some areas of the board and paste were scribbled on, Temple Stone enamel powder sprinkled onto the tacky glue and heated.

I found some wooden steampunk elements and arranged them in a pleasing way.  each piece was pained with Imagination Crafts starlights.  A Graphic 45 pad provided the fussy cut image of the man in hand and supporting a girl and crow.  I've had the pad for a long time but this is the first time I have cut into it.  Before adding the separate elements Clarity Stamps small ballon were stamped and embossed with the Temple Stone.   The bottom edge and sides of the board was inked and covered with Be Creative Wonder Embossing Crystals.  Keeping the enamel molten some Stampendous Frantage crushed glass sprinkled into it.

Before it was added the light bulb body had the detail highlighted with Sakura glitter pen.  The paper cut out was shaped so that it curves out from the zeppelin re-attaching to the board by the man's hand and foot.  Finally the addition of Grunge Board wings painted with silver and gold acrylic paint.

This project is for:
