As the nights draw in

Our eyes look to the stars, well mine do.  Provided the sky is clear it is always interesting to look up at the sky.  There are so many apps you can get for your phone that will help identify the objects you can see and those that are there but not visible to your eye.

In this journal page it is the idea of a star filled sky.  The writing reads "on a clear moonless night, away from artificial light, you might catch a glimpse of the vastness of the havens."

Have you even seen a wild bat or better yet a bat run as they stream out of their day time roost to go hunting?  They are so small and quick as they dart around in the dark, it feels special to see one.  So my scene is a night sky and landscape.

  2. Ahhh this is super, what a great scene. We had a bat flying about in the garden last year. You see a lot of them at my folks house as they are next to the countryside. Amazing wee creatures. Have a nice weekend, Hazelx
