Not usual for me I know but this is a project made with a challenge in mind and there is a deadline!
Looking for something the other day, Leaves I think, found this lantern die that had been completely forgotten about. Well having found it I had to use it didn't I? So the first part of this card was the lantern in white card. Then came the yellow acetate behind it, having got this far it became a case of now what?
Dig out some Christmas stamps and stuff to find a candle image. Struck lucky and found the sweet little image you see in the middle of the lantern, stamped onto printer paper fussy cut and coloured. That new die I've been using works with printer paper! So two fir cone cut outs add more embellishment to the lantern. All that remained was the background. Very old stash provided the papers used for that.
So yet another Christmas card! Very surprising as I don't do Christmas must be something to do with that 2 year gap and all my subsequent re-discoveries and adventures.
