Been a little quiet recently

Actually have found myself another job!  It is a Merchandising role so ad hoc visits to Supermarkets.  I have done something similar before it is relatively easy and leaves me with much spare time.  The ideal role for someone who is retired and just wants a little something to help them tick over.

Once I've done the training I'll still have time to get good and inky.  I did with this canvas, my hands were covered in Blue.

The Blues are from different blue Brushos that started with the darkest at the bottom and lightest at the top.  Then lots more water sprayed on and coloured encouraged to move about and merge.   There was some residual powder that was scrapped off after the canvas had dried.

Next the stencil laid over the top and white glossy paste pushed through it.  With Brusho re-wetting them re-activates them so the white paste sucked up patches of the blue.  While it was wet Fantage Shabby White ep sprinkled over it for even more texture and some glitter.

While the paste was drying I pearl knotted a strand of white glass beads to include with the other embellishments.  Those were firstly the feathers in white and shades of blue.  Some paper flowers sprayed with Glimmer Mist.  These have self adhesive gems in their centres.   A little metal butterfly and a couple of white flowers made with Crafters Foam.
