King for a Day

Odd isn't it how sometimes a project just come together, other times you have to work at it and maybe try different ideas before it clicks.  What then happens to the elements of the ideas that don't work?

Well this card made very good use of something that did not work elsewhere but turned out to be perfect today.

This Lion Head from Pink Ink Designs was going to be the centre piece of something else but it just did not look right so it was put to one side.  Today another challenge caught my eye and this is perfect for it.  First time the stamp had been inked as well.

First stamped onto good quality paper it was then coloured with ProMarkers and later fussy cut.  A single piece of 6" x 6" paper cut down to 5" x 5" as a mat, seems my growing stash of printed paper will not reduce if I replace each sheet I use with a new pad but at least the mountain is now smaller by 1 thin sheet of paper, hahaha.  One of the cut of strips gave a nice platform for the sentiment Stamped and Embossed from the same stamp set.
