Not exactly what I was imagining when I went to bed

Went to bed thinking about wooden spoons, florist oasis, nuts and bolts, and powertex.  Got up this morning and made this.

Cover a piece of Sizzix Glitter card scored and folded to provide front and back as well as a spine.   The stickers front and back are from the wonder stash of Mintay papers.  Yes stickers which of course went "oh goodie glitter card we can stick to that ....... not.  The ribbons stuck on but glue was needed for the stickers hahaha.


Pages 1 and 2 Spring very much the theme here and an opportunity to use the snowdrops again yea.  Lots of colour blending and a little stencilling with DIs, image colouring with Chameleon Pens.  


Pages 3 & 4 two three inch squares from one of the Mintay pads.  I adore these papers they are pretty and feminine but not syrup sweet.  Didn't think anything else was needed.



That fabulous stamp set from Funky Fossil provided the centre spread.  Once again lots of DI colour blending while Chameleon Pens demonstrated their blending ability especially on the Lotus flowers.





Pages 7 & 8 used the other half of the Mintay page used on the pages the other side of the centre pages.


Last pages back to stamping this time with two Penny Black stamps.  On the left the flower inked with Whisper Pens and then stamped directly onto the page,  On the right a swirly wreath stamped in gold and "embossed" with Stampendous Stamp N' Bond then quickly dipped int some gilding flakes.   Not quickly enough I fear as 1/3 of the image did not attract any flakes.  Thinking the page looked a little bare the image randomly stamped in gold again and again.  Both pages finished with some more blended DI.




So there you have it a little tag book, the pages are of course all DL (British sizing) envelopes folded and stuck together.
