Bit of this Bit of that

Been quite an active day shower had a good clean, other bits of HW tend to just do a little bit here and there other than have a full on HW session.  Then the grass got it's second trim of the year.  Then a walk round a couple of blocks to get to the shop across the road.  So very active day but of course there was time for a little fiddle in the craft room!

This card was inspired by AAA Cards whose #185 challenge is "One Inchie" there is an optional twist of Black and White as you can see I didn't go with that.  The blue card has been cut to a 5 1/4 inch square.   In the centre there is a Tando Inchie stamped with a little inchie block that has a heart outline in it, over that I've used another small heart which just fits snugly inside.   The stamps came for a See-D's set.

So having got that out of my system here is another card made yesterday.

Same blue base card as the first card.  This card was triggered by Country View Crafts  Whose March challenge is Silhouettes.   The image of a sporty car in the sunset kept popping into my mind, knowing I had a Anita stamp that pretty much fitted the bill.

Car stamped and masked.  Colouring of sky and ground was done with Gelatos and a water brush.  What ever did we do before water brushes?  To clearly establish the sun another Anita stamps with white ink.  As it did not stand out I went over the outline with a Sakra pen.  Just to jazz it up a bit the sentiment was over written with quickie glue and Stampendous crushed glass in blue.  The fun with this is that at some angles the words cannot be made out at others the crushed glass seems to disappear.  Finishing touch Glossy Accents spread over the windscreen area and some of the lights.

It also seems like fun to enter this into the Allsorts Challenge #614 their theme this week is to use Yellow, lots of that here.  Make My Monday challenge #143 is Masculine Birthday hope this is masculine enough! Meanwhile Stamps & Fun = Creativity challenge #384 are calling for A Card for A Boy.

Thats two fun but nonsense cards out of my system, Crafting is for fun.

Just looking forward now to our regular Sunday evening Zoom meeting, Claxby Crafters have seen much more of each other since lock down, we usually meet for 2 long week-ends a year so speaking as a group every week has changed our dynamic quite a lot.  Stay Safe, Keep Well, Wear your Mask and HAVE FUN
