Feeling Blue, with a little Yellow 2

As promised yesterday this colour combination had to be revisited.

The process
Blue crafters foam die cut with the TH die tag.  A Sizzix flower die was used with the yellow for the leaves a Craft Box die was used.   The flower was not designed to be used with crafters foam, but each petal could easily be twisted and shaped.  The yellow foam is very thin and fragile so I did have to be a bit careful easing it over a ball tool.

Arrangement laid out, self adhesive pearls used with the label, label inner stamped in yellow with my favourite simple sentiment.  Piece of white card also cut with the tag die and foam attached, the foam will not stand up by itself.  Finally some old Stamp Bug stamps added in Versamark fine blue.  Touched them before they were fully dry the resulting smudge just adds to the dreamy summers day feel of the tag.  More annoyed that one did not smudge more than anything hahaha.

The challenges

Color Hues - #13 Yellow and Blue

Creatalicious - #206 I've got the Blues

Addicted to Stamps & More - #400 Die Cuts and/or Stencils

Watercooler Wednesday - #311 All things Feminine

Heavy winds yesterday and overnight, still blowing now.  They took 2 roof panels off my shed old plastic ones so there are bits of plastic all over the place.  I would put the washing out but have a feeling it would end up in Yorkshire.  Stay Safe, Keep Well, Wear Your Mask & Have Fun.

  5. Well done manipulating the fine petals of your die cut bloom, I'm sure I would have broken at least one off! They look very striking, yellow against the blue, great use of the Color Hues challenge colours. TFS. :

  7. What a stunning tag, Zoe! I love the way you've arranged the petals of the die-cut blossom. Mother Nature likes to play around, arranging them in various ways herself. Great choice of bright colours. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this fortnight.
