Journaling with Stencils

Found out today about a Sweet Poppy Stencil challenge well you know what that led to don't you.

Didn't really expect to do any crafting today, had a couple of supermarket calls to do this morning, come on peeps you are not buying enough toilet rolls! waddda you mean you've still got cupboards full from a year ago? hahaha.  Then when I got home Harley spent several hours nagging me little attention magnet that he is.   Then this challenge was pointed out to me!

Decided to take the opportunity to experiment a little more in the black art journal.

Tree outline covered with versamark ink and then various colours of Perfect Pearls.  The feather stencil laid over the top and more versamark used this time stick and bond was melted on the inks and gilding flakes pressed over the top, this did not quite work but a few lines with  quickie glue helped solve that.

Next time I think I'll try putting the stencil onto double sided sticky sheet and then brush with Perfect Pearls, that will probably work better with the gilding flakes as well.
