A little novelty box and other things

I had the idea of making a top hat box and was all set to make my own design, then I discovered that a die set already exists.   Part of a range known as A Grand Day Out so why reinvent the wheel.  On youtube there is a tutorial showing you how to construct it.

White card die cut all the parts, which when constructed were painted with black Gesso.   There is a set of steampunk accessories, the gloves came with the hat set.  The cogs and elements in silver mirra card were die cut with a Funky Fossil die.

Challenges I'm sharing the box with.

Then I had a little play with another post card

Rainbow provided by Galetos in red, yellow and blue carefully lined up so they overlapped slightly merging as a real rainbow will.  Sentiment "Hello how are you?" stamped letter by letter in the rainbow colours.  Butterfly top left a La Blance butterfly coloured with Whisper Pens.

  12. What patience and dexterity you have to stamp those tiny letters one by one. Love your corner design and that butterfly. I have some gellatos that haven't seen the light of day for a while, perhaps I will get them out xx
