Inspiration Station Challenge #4

Before we get to the challenge lets have a little catch up.  Did you watch the race yesterday?  Did you enjoy it.  Driver of the Day was definitely Lando Norris don't you think?  But didn't Mr Hamilton do well to get back to 2nd admittedly with the help of that red flag.  It always seems to me that Mr Bottas and Mr Russell always get the worst luck when bad luck is being dished out and their incident looked scary thank goodness they did both walk away.

Spring is well advanced now and the are signs of wildlife love all over the place!  Our picture this time at Inspiration Stations Challenge is this wonderful picture.

The picture, when Donna first showed it to us, was captioned Couples.  That and the season inspired my piece for you today.

All around the world in big city parks and open spaces you are likely to find colonies founded by escaped caged birds.  There is little more astonishing when on a casual walk then to see a flock of brightly coloured birds fly past.   I'm not saying British birds are not colourful, they are, but our native species are not the flamboyant colours of some others.

Here then are two escapees looking set to bring their brood up amoung the beautiful spring blossom.  All stamps from Paper Artsy, birds watercolored with Pantel preloaded water brushes.  Blossom coloured with Whisper Pens.

All the team have been inspired in different ways by the picture, what does it suggest to you.  Please share your creations with us at Inspiration Station Challenge we would love to see them.

  1. There are parakeets in a local park and they are certainly colourful when they fly around. Your card reminds me of them, so pretty. Thank you for sharing with us at We Love Chocolate Baroque challenge.

  3. Lovely fresh and cheerful colours Zoe, they remind me of a square in Cadiz where the trees are full of them darting over you head whilst having a coffee. Thanks so much for joining in with our Springtime theme at We Love Chocolate Baroque, a perfect creation.

Was disappointed Sir Lewis wasn't first over the line yesterday after starting on pole, but given the issue he did well.
