Inspiration Station Challenge #6

Oh my it is time for our second challenge for May at Inspiration Challenge Station.  This is one we hope you are going to have a blast with.

Here is the Inspiration picture

As so often all of us have taken inspiration in different directions that is the joy of being part of a diverse team.

My take, the colours of music

For a while my repeat prescriptions were posted to me in wonderful card envelopes which are great for altering.   This one was given a coat of Black Gesso all over.  It has only been decorated on one side after that.

A white piece of card stuck over the address label.  Tando stencil placed o top with embossing paste pushed through.  Next the whole side had a piece of printed tissue paper added.   This paper has a musical score all over and the occasional silhouettes of birds.  Tissue carefully worked over the now dry embossing paste and DI dusted over to make a feature of it.

Stamping the musical instruments from an old Stamp Man set also coloured and fussy cut.   Arranged this on the envelope and stuck them down.   Finally another old stamp set, Hampton Arts, of a fabulous old Jazz street bank stamped and also coloured with the same as those used previously.  Fussy cut and added to the flap.

This envelope now houses some of my larger recent makes.  It is great storage to look after cards.

So this is my take now we want to see yours join in the fun at Inspiration Challenge Station.
