River of Creativity 01 - Sunshine

Hi today is the start of a brand new challenge blog!  River of Creativity We will have a new challenge on the 5th of every month and it will run to the end of the month.  The team is fantastic with 7 other amazing artists and me.  All our styles and ideas are different and that is what we are all about.  ALL types of art & craft are welcome from cards, to mixed media journals, to jewellery, to just about anything you can think of!

The theme for our first challenge is Sunshine.  All we ask is that it is obvious how the prompt inspired you with you having to explain it.

Here is my sample

Inspired by an Inca/Pruvian tapestry I used a childs school compass for the half circle shape traced around it with quickie glue pen.   Then drew in the rays coming from it with the same pen.  Metallic Perfect Pearls dusted over.  The semi circle was then filled with the triangle design and gilding flakes applied.

You can join us from your Blog, Instagram, Twitter, Face Book, or any other Social Media you use.   You must however use the Inlinkz tool provided.  If entering from somewhere other than Blogger #ROCsunshine01 will help us find you.

Here in the UK the Covid case numbers are falling but I saw the other day that my area is still slightly above the national average.  If we want to avoid further lockdowns or other restrictions we still all have to do our bit.  Stay Safe, Keep Well, Wear your Mask by now it should be fairly natural, and HAVE FUN.
