Today has been a good day.

Woke up this morning keen to get in the craft room and play.  Alcohol ink on yopo with cling film, I'm sure you are familiar with the technique and know how much fun it is.  The result is the background for today's card.  It was a larger piece but I tried to emboss with stencil and paste onto half of it and failed completely ha ho.

Yopo attached to the base card with just one strip of DST at the top, this just give a little bit more movement.   Big white crafters foam flower with yellow leaves.  I wanted a bit butterfly and rediscovered a wood mounted stamp I've had for years and years stamped it onto mulberry paper then onto printed vellum and finally once more onto the mulberry paper.  Each piece was fussy cut and layered, keeping the antenna from the vellum.
