Under the Sea

F1 qualifying is on, looks a bit dryer there and is probably a lot warmer than here!  Harley is napping in his igloo so I'll just share a couple of cards with you.

To get the image to fit onto a 4" square all the stamps were laid out together and then the bubbles stamped a second time.  Two main fish masked, I have masked the images before and saved my fussy cut masks so didn't have to do it again.  Masks in place Salty Ocean DI dusted over the whole of the 4" square.  Masks off fish coloured with Whisper Pens and some Sakura as well as some old Sakura Silver Shadow pen in orange.

Legend "Under the Sea" from another stamp set carefully lined up on card before the topper was added.  Finishing touch, there is always one, Glossy Accents dotted into each of the bubbles.

Challenges

Creative Friday - #280 Clean and Simple

Less is More - #442 Sea Creatures

Creatalicious - #210 Winged things

Then there is this which also just happens to have a fish!

This time I started using a brayer with Big and Juicy ink, these are getting old now and not quite so juicy anymore.   As they are no longer made when they become un-usable it will be the end of an era.  Two different pads used here to really get a sense of water on the bottom of the card.

The stamps are old Elusive Images ones again from two different sets.   Coloured with Whisper Pens, these are getting a bit old now as well but there is nothing to compare with them on the market!  Solvent  pens are all very well I have lots, but there is the issue with bleed through and as I make a lot of postcards that will not do at all.   Not obvious here but some glitter Sakura has been added to the water.

  1. Yep 100th pole, no excuses that I am an out and out fan and what my Gran would call "such a gentleman".

Lovely you at We Love Chocolate Baroque again and those Butterflies are still going strong, thanks for joining in but a tad sad there were a couple of letters missing from your link 😔.
