Winner Winner

Got a message last week telling me that I had won a FB draw with IndioBlu.  We all enter these things but never really expect our name to be picked so to say I was excited is something of an understatement.  Yesterday the prize arrived 4 fantastic stamps that were released on Thursday.

To present this darling duckling I used an MDF pallet with stand from Funky Fossil.  Pallet given a flat covering of white gesso.  Image stamped in black memento then coloured with Chameleon Pens.  Then it was stamped again onto sticky paper and cut to make a mask.  AALL and Create stencil dotted around and dusted through with green DI.  Then without cleaning the stencil some Translucent embossing paste pushed through, the paste picked up some to the left over DI in the process.   Very small amounts of Blue and Green Brusho sprinkled on top.  Once the paste was dry water spritzed over the pallet to activate the Brush.  To help the main image stand out using a water brush water brushed round the outline to push the watercolour away.  A coat of glossy gel medium was also applied over the duckling. Finally some blossom and a butterfly die cut, coloured with Chameleon Pens and attached with Silicon glue.  Then blue crushed glass stuck to the base suggesting water.

  1. It was your lucky week Zoe and what a super creation with one of your new stamps, I caught sight of them being premiered on The Craft Channel last week.

Have a good Sunday, it looks a tad dull here at the moment so I hoping the weather turns out as they promised.
