Bottoms up

We've just a wonderful down pour, so refreshing but now of course we are set for rain for the next few days.  Stay tuned for moans.  Busy day work wise as well mostly down to computer problems, calls themselves went very nicely.

Still made up for it by doing this the I got home.

It was a nice excuse to play with lots of toys.  Background an AALL and Create stencil dusted with DI Wild Honey stronger in the middle tasing out to the edges,  The stamp with Memento Bamboo is the recent Creative Stamping magazine set.  The contents of the glass were first coloured by use using a water brush to move the DI already on the card.   Then she Pickled Raspberry was added to tint the fluid lower down the glass and to dollar the fruit in the glass.  Shabby Shutter added touches of green to the leaves.   A stronger mix of Pickled Raspberry painted the umbrella.  Cheers added with Brilliance Orange.

This was a take on Less is More challenge which is to CASE (Copy and selectively edit) the card they are show, see below.  I took the Hammered card stock, the colours and the central placement of the image.  In place of the tiles is the squares of the stencil.

  1. Love the use of your chosen stencil too ... looks a little like ice cubes!

  2. Cheers to you as well Zoe, strawberry daiquiri for me please, like the fresh summer fell to it. As to photos, tried a light box for a time, but square is never square so now take most flat and invariably move to a 'jaunty angle' when editing.
