Start of a new month and the start of a new challenge at We Love Chocolate Baroque. The theme this month is ANYTHING AUTUMN. As I'm sure you know you do not have to use our sponsors stamps but seeing them helps us the DT to get new ideas hahaha.
The is of course a prize a £15.00 voucher for you to use at the Chocolate Baroque site. There is also a gift bag of goodies from the Chocolate Baroque shop. The picture is of the range of things used to make up the bags, contents will vary.
I've used 2 stamp sets for this card, which is my brother's birthday card this year. I've used Woodland, Orchard, Glade & Spinny and Nature Table.
I wanted to create an Autumn Sun set/rise using kraft card. Punched a circle out of paper to make a mask and yellow blended through it. Mask off and I just played with yellows, oranges, blues, and pinks, with a torn piece of card making a horizon. Horizon mask flipped and layers of green blended over. The tree is from an old A4 set that is not available but you can get this one in on the Orchard Design a Tree Set.
The other set I used, Nature Table, provided all the fussy cut elements which were coloured with Chameleon pens. They have been layered onto the card so that some can overlap for depth. With a handful of leaves blowing across the scene the desired result has been achieved.
Autumn colours are often thought of of reds, oranges, browns and yellows. But All Hallows eve is at the end of the month and might include purples and reds in that list. We are looking forward to seeing your take on the theme. If you still need inspiration you'll find lots over at the We Love Chocolate Baroque site with all the teams different ideas.

I know they grow much of the year but strooms always say Autumn to me and along with the conkers (sorry in childhood mode) all make up to a super seasonal creation with the mist landscape in the background.
