Second post today, well it is the 3rd Monday of the month which means it is the start of a new challenge at Inspiration Station. As always we start with a picture to inspire you.
Now what does that put you in mind of? April Showers perhaps. Hopefully you will take some inspiration from this picture and share your project with us.
I took the idea of water and rain for my project. Who would not mind being caught in a rain shower? A fish maybe?
Tag cut with a TH die, I like tags they are great for playing around with and easy to keep together in fact I've got a couple of tag books they make great little reference books. Next using a magazine cover set a piece of card was embossed and then a glue stick dragged over the surface and blue mica powder sprinkled over that.
The fish and the blossom, both from the same magazine set, were stamped and fussy cut. Once coloured with felt pens the layout was arranged. With the embossed card cut to size everything was put together. Next the rain drops which are Glossy Accent, falling on everything. I also decided to give the fish a glossy finish and spread glossy accents over it.
