Amanda over at Allsorts set the challenge this week banning the use of rubber stamps in our responses. Have taken that to mean no stamping and resisted the temptation to use clear stamps. As she says there are lots of things to do without stamping!
For this I used a dreamweaver stencil, colouring the image with daubers and them using translucent embossing paste. When it the stencil went back over the image and a layer of crackle paste applied. When that dried and the crack developed you could see the colour but the image was mostly white and a bit boring so the whole raised image was rubbed down with a sanding pad and the daubers lightly re-applied. A bit of DTP dragging, Papermania silk flowers added with brads, a teal mat over an a6 card made of my papermania strokable card!
it was tough (in fact on another card the stamps came out without my even thinking about it) but its done! Look no stamps!
