Ready Steady Stamp 3

Really had not expected to enter the Ready Steady Stamp challenge this time then had a revelation in the shower!

Anyway the ingredients this time are: Monument, Blue, Metal embellishment ok so far, then the bright spark over at RSS added Cuttlewax technique which requires wax paper & CORK!!!! Well could not resist seeing what others had been doing and there are some stunning entires. Noticed peeps had been using pictures of cork rather than the actual stuff..

So the revelation, Andrew at Tanda Stamps will custom make just about any stamp you want and working on the theory that pictures of cork are OK am guessing a stamped image of cork works as well? Andrew came up trumps, he photographed his cork notice board and made a stamp of it. i loved it but he was not happy and so made another using his mothers cork covered toaster for the cork image! So thank you Andrew and thank you also for the Stonehenge image which is from an as yet un-released set.

making of the card.
Stamp CORK with Ranger Resist pad onto high gloss card and over spray with Cosmic Shimmer Midnight BLUE & Aque Lagoon. Stamp MONUMENT in Silver and Silver emboss, Stamp moon and emboss in silver. Fill moon with Sakura white souffle & white gelly roll. Shadows of Stonehenge Pro Markers grey 3 & 5. Make WAX PAPER with greaseproff paper and a candle run through bug with Distressed Stripes folder and then transfer image onto card and over colour. It actually worked well but is hard to see here as the card is the base backing all the rest. Ran more greaseproof through the bug with the owl folder (had hoped to use the wax technique for this but it did not work). Colour greaseproof image with Adirondack 'Mountain lake'. Tear attach to base, tear gloss card and add to base blending with greaseproof. Little Memory Makers METAL TAG with star filler top right. Attach base to card, finished.
