SCD - Blue White and Snowflake

Hope its OK that there are other colours on this card? It is such a shame that Ang (not the same Ang) is not keeping her blog anymore, used to enjoy popping over and seeing her lovely work but very happy that she is still on the Something Completely Different design team. This week it was Ang's turn to set the theme, we are making cards this month very different for this challenge site! The task this week is to use Blue, white and a Snowflake.

Background the spellbinder snowflake die onto white copy paper and brayered with Hydrangea torn in half layered under and over the snowman vellum. Blue pen dragged down the top piece to make sortof icicles, washed with blue glitter sakura, clear sakura washed over rest of torn page. Snowman stamped in blue and coloured with Prokarkers, love the Snowman and wanted to impart the warm glow hence the yellow outline. Cut out and decouparged with sticky pads of different height so the snowman's tum sticks out a bit. Snowflake brads to help hold all the layered papers in place.

  16. Hi Zoe

This is a gorgeous Christmas card - and I know the song title without thinking about it!!

I bought this stamp a few weeks ago and it isn't as easy to colour as you think it might be on first looking (or was that just me) You have made a brilliant job of colouring yours. Well done.

Thank you for joining in the fun at Allsorts this week.

    Love Jules xx
