Friday 13th nothing to it, Saturday 14th now thats another story. I have a week off now but thought it would hit the fan by about Wednesday... nooooo had to go back in to the office this morning just for an hour or so. Not a hard thing to do with the storm we lost our electricity about 9am so guessed it would be back on by the time I got home...... nooooo got home two and half hours later no power. You would think this was an ideal opportunity to craft? ....... noooo seems there has to be background noise and a heat gun for that! After 3 and half hours, just when I was calling to find out how long the power cam back so thats OK then. No idea what happened but very much hope no one was hurt by the cut.
So now it warm & noisey again the second of two cards made for Something completely different challenge this week has been finished.
The challenge calls for a Pink Christmas card that must include a tree. Crackle embossing paste through a tree stencil with glamour dust sprinkled down each side. Peeloff parcels on different papers some of last year 'Anita's' gold printed vellum and a stamp/embossed greeting. The greeting was what the hear gun was need for.
Card one uses the cuttlebug tree folder touched with glue and given some pink leaf gilding. the BG is Crafty Individuals 'Travels in Italy' fell in love with the pad at Ringwood a couple of weeks back. Some of last years 'Anita's' vellum has been layered with the CI paper, a strip of CI tops it all off. Season's Greetings from a Tanda set.
