Third and last piece today. The last Friday in January so the last of the Arches for now on Something completely different the theme is cat. Well living with 3 cats and with the name of the late great Chaos being part of my online name for so many years now how on earth could this one go by without me?
You may also know by now that texture and quirky are part of my style explored this week with pale blue paper perfect. A chipboard arch stamped with the cats image that was then masked. Words were stamped over the entire piece, the paper perfect laid on top and down one side and dried with a heat gun. Viva ferro Golden Orange touched over and around the first layer and dried. Viva metallic paint in ice blue and Coral touched over everything. Glimmer mist in tattered leather and Iridescent Gold sprayed on and dried. The mask was then removed just watercoloured sakura was used on the little cats eyes.
