Tuesday Taggers - Messy Fingers

Firstly thank you for all your kind words and wishes for my first DT effort.

This week at Tuesday Taggers we are sharing the mess we can make when crafting and the results of all that mess. This was surprisingly hard, seems I clean up after myself so keeping some ink on my fingers was quite an ask!

These frames were very popular before Christmas, this is one that I did not get around to 'doing up'. Base coat of Black Gesso, randomly sprayed with GM frozen lake and starfish, black absorbs colour so these can only be seen when the frame is tilted under light. Frame then sprayed with Gold spray and sparkle. When everything dry stamped in gold Claritys Sunburst the centre given a Viva Metallic paint fill, first with my little finger then with a stencil brush and a twist.

Nearly forgot we have a prize this week! a £15 voucher for The Craft Barn good luck.

Do visit the site and see all the lovely work (and mess) the team and guest designers have come up with.

  11. Hi Zoe.

I love your frame, it looks like fabric. I bet it's really sparkly in real life and those sunbursts are gorgeous.
I don't know about peeps going off skiing, everyone I know seems to be going to the sun, my hairdresser goes to Barbados this weekend, our neighbours are in Thailand and a blogging buddy has gone to Tenerife for 1 month-what is that all about!!

  13. Your frame is gorgeous Zoe ! The layering of all the different colours has given it a beautiful finish. The stamps I used for the background on my black and white card are Impression Obsession. It was a set I picked up in sale some time ago. Sue C x
