Lots to do - Distressed

The weekly challenge at Lots to do has to be checked out each week! Hilda enjoys nothing more than getting inky and messy and then getting the rest of us to do the same, its so bad her OH made her do in a shed at the bottom of the garden LOL. Anyway this week she has got us distressing. A few weeks ago I picked up a bag of broken jewellery at a charity shop in it was a hair clip with a rather vicious fastner on the back.

Clip sanded down to take the gloss paint off it and applied distress inks, spiced marmalade, shabby shutters and scattered straw. The sanded wood grabbed the colours. Great new Limited Edition stamp 'Hippie Flower' stamped and embossed onto heat resist acatate and again onto shrink plastic, after shrinking the little flower was heat embossed with the same Copper EP. And it had to happen made three of the little roses out of paper and then dabbed Tattered Rose distressed stickles onto them. Left it all overnight for the glue to dry and as the sun is shining wall to wall outside took it into the garden to photograph. Hope it is distressed enough.
