Tuesday again! time for a new challenge at Tuesday Taggers and this week the theme was chosen by Lynn. This week Lynn wants us to alter things. Begining to get why I so enjoy being part of this team, you don't have to make a tag but will almost certainly have fun what ever your style.
This body butter tub started out as a Shea butter tub and was cream coloured, forgot to take the before piccy, sorry. Alcohol inks pink green coffee, then the blending stuff and pearl mixative all sealed with glossy modge podge and pink gilding flakes. The last time I used gilding flakes it was with Glossy accents sealing it all in and the flakes gold that time they turned green, this time with Modge Podge they stayed pink. While on the subject of what can go wrong Alcohol ink onto a tub and then coated with distress crackle paint in rock candy will lift the ink off and turn it to dust ummmm. Flower as you can see is embossed grunge paper, bottom layer cut out 5 petals and then cut into them and layer then up with strong glue to form the base petals then shaped to curl under. More grunge paper cut with a circle nestie cut each section and curl up. Colour with Nick Bentock red and yellow back and front. Attach two parts togather with big brad and stick onto tub lid. Result great little gift and useful as well.
So what will you alter?
