Allsorts - Make your own background

Make your own background irresistible to someone with stacks of paper pads and no idea what to do with them! So when Allsorts say make your own out come the inks.

Base card is black, sprayed with starch covered with black and white gesso starch and clingfilm as explained by Jozart. Overstamped this with B Line Nest Cube 'bird cage' in Perfect Medium and covered this with a mixed waste of Perfect Pearls currently the mix is red coloured. White vellum cut down and stamped in the same way. 'Bird on branch' from same cube stamped and embossed in gold, parts of HOTP swirl stamped and embossed in the corners. The bird has been filled with clear sparkle Sakura Pen, and then covered with glossy accents. Topper, and vellum matted onto card. Pearly pink and soft green mizukihi cord knoted to make embelishments and one little gem to symbolise the sweet song of the bird.
