LTD Bees Wax

Have often admired the art of others with Wax but never tried the medium myself. Hilda's challenge this week on the Lots to do is to use Wax, its a medium Hilda has used quite a bit always with stunning results and her example this week is gorgeous. Bit thank you Hilda for keeping the blog going its always something different and interesting one of my favourite weekly challenges.

So wax all I have are sheets of wax from a candle making starter kit, tore one up and melted it and poured it into a grape mould. This mould came from a cake crafters shop locally they make them there and so different to the usual crafting moulds. Repeated this three times, between melting and cooling sessions the grapes image stamped and coloured with promarkers, masked and music script overstamped. More wax melted and poured all over image repeatedly. When the image was well covered put it in the fridge to set the wax. Once cooled peeled wax off the main image melted a little more and stuck the bunches of grapes on.

Surprised by the result and love the silkie feel of the wax. Any ideas how to keep it?
