CofC #6

This week Linda has decided we are to use page 66 of 'A Compendium of Curiosities' Multi Medium Collage. Still thinking of doing a second set of atcs for the Stampman swap made this little atc.

If you know me you'll know how hard it was to tear out a page even from a book brought for the purpose but in the interests of completing the challenge a page has been torn out of the book and chipboard shapes were covered. The atc was coloured with blending blocks and then stamped with a CS cover stamp. Butterfly and Dragonfly once covered given a GM spary or two and attached. Butterfly's flight represented by wire and beads wire antenners finish the piece.

  1. Zoe, it's a perfect time of year for multi medium flying beauties! You've done such a gorgeous job on this card-- LOVE the way you shaded the butterfly and dragonfly, and your background just sings "SUMMER!" Lovely work, my dear!

I'm glad you were able to deface a book in the name of art! Feels pretty good, huh? :-)

  9. This is gorgeous - I love the colors, and your text on the butterflies came out beautifully. I had to laugh at your comment about not wanting to rip up a book that you bought for that very purpose. I actually went on a flea market run a few weeks ago to do the same thing... pick up old books that I wasn't attached to in any way, so that I wouldn't feel guilty about ripping them up... I bought four.... I've torn pages out of one.... it still hurts, LOL!! TFS!
