Not CofC # 5

Cannot join in with Linda's challenge yet as I do not have any Distress EP. The lovely Hilda has posted some but RM has not got round to delivering it yet. In the mean time tried using ep and table salt.

Fortunatly one of my pots of ep is already quite grungy its the ep used on wet glue and plastic bags mixing a bit of salt in it is unlikely to spoil it. Lots of different stamps were used in the making of this card. cream card and cream paper stamped with music score and then different colours of DI blened into them. Treble Cleft, phase and cello stamped and embossed with ep and salt mix, well actually the salt went on first and the ep over the top. Once heated the salt had been blown away except a few grains held in place by the ep which took a bit of picking at to remove. Images then given the same DI blending treatment.

Having not seen results with the correct powder cannot compare results but as soon as Hilda's gift gets here I'll give it a go and let you all know.

  1. Zoe, the card is beautiful! That's a really smart substitution, and I can't wait to hear how they compare once your DEP arrives and you can play with both methods. ♥
