Lots to do - Angels or Faries

Good morning, here in the UK its a Bank Holiday week-end so thats 3 days to play and we have been promised improvements to the weather LOL what will you be doing this week-end days out with the family making the most of the last days of the school holidays getting inky in the craft room?

We saw some gorgeous button and bead projects last week thank you to everyone who joined in we look forward to seeing you again soon. This week the theme at Lots to do is Angels or Faries.

For this wall hanging the Blended Batik technique on page 36 of 'A Compendium of Curiosities' was employed. More of those foam backed stamps and Distress inks. The side pieces are coated cardstock that does not take colour all that well, the same distress inks and some fantasy fibres heat set together. The fairy is stamped in a mixture of different colours of Fantasy fibers and attached to the edge of the side panel with very little trimming. Three pieces of fine gauge wire have been plaited to form the hanger.

As you might have guessed from the lack of description about the Blended Batik this is also my entry to Linda's Compendium of Curiosities challenge week 11.

Looking forward to seeing your Angels and or Faries please leave a link for us at Lots to do challenge Most importantly Have Fun.
